Not only does it look fantastic, but luxury silk bedding also offers great health benefits. Sleeping on silk can naturally regulate your temperature, keeping you cool in the summer and cosy in the winter, allowing you to sleep better and not be disturbed from your slumber. As well as being moisturising on the skin, silk bedding is also naturally hypoallergenic, allowing a better night’s sleep for those who suffer with conditions such as asthma, hay fever and sensitive skin.

To compliment your luxury silk bedding, why not take a look at our silk pillowcases or bed linen for a complete bedding set?

Is sleeping on silk better than cotton?

Sleeping on silk bedding over cotton bedding is much more comfortable and beneficial. Cotton is a more absorbent material, meaning it will absorb moisture from your skin and hair whilst you sleep, whereas silk allows you to retain moisture for more refreshed skin when you wake up. Cotton bedding also creates more friction between the skin and bedding which can lead to skin irritation and hair breakage. Silk bedding is soft and gentle on the skin and hair, meaning no irritation and no more bed head!
